People aged between 40yrs - 74yrs who have not had a presvious diagnosis for vascular disease or diabetes or kidney disease are eligible for a free healthchecks under the NHS. Our accreditated pharmacist will discuss ways to reduce and minimise your risk, assess and improve your awareness of vascular risk. The results will be explained to you and shared with your doctor. Healhy lifestyle issues will be discussed briefly and referrals made to services if necessary for futher support; for example signposting to the doctor, stop smoking service and weight management. If you are found to be in the moderate to high risk group, a referral will be made in accordance with local guideline.
